I had a question about the Braun Series 7 790cc Pulsonic Shaver.
I was wondering how you would figure it would stack up to a thicker beard, myself personally I grow stubble long enough to pinch after just about a day and was wondering how this shaving may fare against a longer/thicker beard
Also, their is no performance difference from the 790cc and the 760cc? Other than the quick clean and its black? but the shaver itself its the exact same(other than the colour of course)
Thank you

Hey there.
Yes there is no shaving performance difference between the 760 and the 790, just the display is a bit different, the 790 has a quick clean feature, and the colors are white and black.
For a thicker beard, I think the Braun Series 7 will work well, at least as good as any electric shaver will do. You might just have to make sure you shave everyday.
I find if I leave myself unshaven for 3 days, it still does a good job, it just takes longer and requires a few more strokes. In the beginning this may lead to some irritation, but you should get used to it. Shaving more frequently should reduce the amount of work you need to do. So with thick facial hair a more regular routine is definitely recommended.
I would first recommend the Braun, however my second recommendation would be the Panasonic ES LA93 K, only if you're thinking about doing wet shaves. This is another good shaver with some good power, and if you want to try wet shaving with your thick beard, this unit is recommended. Rubbing in some thick shaving cream and rinsing with some nice warm water may help with shaving a thick beard so that's something you need to consider.
Bottom line I think the Braun Series 7 should be fine if you shave frequently, but if wet shaving is something you might want to do, then consider the Panasonic ES LA93 K.
All the best,
Tyler
