After analyzing the reviews for
this model it's clear that most people are impressed. If you've always used rotary shavers then this is an excellent choice for you.
However, if you have always used foil shavers then I would stick to similar priced shavers like the Braun Series 7 or some advanced Panasonic shavers.
This is the most advanced group of Norelco shavers and comes in a few different models. Some come with cleaning stations and have more advanced battery displays, but they all have the main important features like the Ultra Track shaving blades, and the 360 degree Gyro Flex 3D Head.
Most people can't
justify paying more money for the higher models like the 1280x and 1290x. The 1250x is probably the
highest you will want to go to get your money's worth. Two models have the Jet Clean System (1280xcc, 1250xcc) which works really well, but it's not needed. You can save money by just buying the electric razor (1250x) which can be cleaned manually.
This electric shaver has 3 pivoting heads which gives you a very close shave. It has an impressive
design and is very easy to clean. Because this shaver is waterproof you can use it in the shower or over the sink with shaving cream.
I personally found I got a better shave when using it wet and would recommend it for anyone looking for a wet shave.
Philips Norelco HS8420 Nivea for Men Razor
If you like the idea of shaving in the shower with a reliable rotary shaver, this razor might be
for you. Its shaving performance has been compared to some of the more expensive models, but it
doesn't come with the added features.
If shaving with lotion is important then this Norelco shaver will interest you. Nivea for Men
conditioner is dispensed while you shave. This helps keep your skin moisturized while shaving.
One thing you should remember is that you will have to refill the lotion dispenser.
Consumers have complained that it can be expensive to constantly refill. Keep in mind you don't need to use the lotion if you don't want to. You can use this razor dry.
For under 100 dollars it's a good deal if you're not interested in added features like a precision
trimmer, and you want to shave in the shower.
Philips Norelco 7340 Men's Shaving System
With this Norelco shaver you might not get the closest shave ever, but reviews state that it's
quiet, comfortable, and very easy to clean. It's a great shaver for the price. At under 50 dollars
it is well worth the money.
If you're looking for a complete shaving system and a super close shave this might not satisfy
your needs. However if your budget for an electric shaver is around 50 dollars, this Norelco
razor is highly recommended.

use any type of cleaning product with this razor. Just rinse it under water and you're done.
